Connors Plays Mayotte in Exhibition at Forum

Jimmy Connors, making his second appearance in Los Angeles in less than a month, will play Tim Mayotte in exhibition tennis at the Forum tonight.

Connors was a last-minute replacement for Ivan Lendl against Stefan Edberg in the most recent Forum exhibition, Nov. 19.

In the opening match, at 6 p.m., Martina Navratilova will play Lori McNeil. McNeil gained attention by defeating Chris Evert en route to a semifinal finish at the U.S. Open in September. Navratilova, ranked No. 2, won the U.S. Open and Wimbledon in 1987.
