Bush Calls North a Hero

The perverted reasoning that led Bush to praise North for his patriotic stand in lying to the Congress should effectively remove him as a viable candidate for the presidency. A presidential candidate should--of all people--understand the concept of patriotism. If he doesn’t, it is a frightening prospect.
His attitude that it is acceptable to lie to the people and act illegally relative to the very foundation of our Constitution is not behavior that I would want viewed as “patriotic” by a presidential candidate.
