Responding to a rising market, Far West...

Responding to a rising market, Far West Financial has increased the minimum price of its Dutch auction tender offer for 700,000 of its common shares to $8 per share from $6. The maximum price of $10.50 remains unchanged. Under the revised offer, shareholders may choose the price within that range at which they will sell their tendered shares. The offer, unless extended, ends Jan. 5, 1988. Far West’s stock closed at $9.625 Friday.
