Kazuo Ishikure, president of Bridgestone (U.S.A.) Inc., will return to the Tokyo-based parent company, Bridgestone Corp., to accept a new assignment. Norihiro Takeuchi will succeed Ishikure as president of the U.S. company, which is headquartered in Torrance, and will continue in his role as president of the tire sales group. Bridgestone (U.S.A.) Inc. was created in 1986 through the consolidation of Bridgestone Tire Company of America Inc., the sales and marketing operation, and Bridgestone Tire Manufacturing, the production operation.
