Grappling With the ‘Complexities’ of the German Language

I consider myself fortunate to have been able to learn and study both English and German with equal intensity and to perform difficult technical and philosophical translations both ways. It is true that for beginners and general use, English is easier than German, but it is also true that intricate conceptual thought processes, e.g., in philosophy, are easier illuminated using the “intricate” and partially synthetic German language.
