William R. Black and Deborah L. Foster were named vice presidents of Geneva Business Research Corp., the business-evaluation unit of the Geneva Companies. Prior to joining Geneva in 1985 as a marketing manager, Black was an analyst with Management Resource Services in Chicago. Foster joined Geneva in 1981 as a market analyst. Geneva, based in Costa Mesa, provides merger, acquisition and divestiture services to middle-market businesses.
