Leslie Fay Cos. has agreed to buy Albert Nipon Inc., pending approval by the Bankruptcy Court. Albert Nipon, a manufacturer of women’s designer clothing, has been in reorganization under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code since Dec. 31, 1987. Leslie Fay also makes women’s clothing. Terms of the deal were not available.
