Atty. Gen. Edwin Meese III will be called as a prosecution witness in the trial of former White House aide Lyn Nofziger, which begins next week, the prosecutor disclosed. Independent counsel James C. McKay said Meese will testify toward the end of the presentation of the prosecution’s case against Nofziger, who is charged with illegally lobbying ex-White House colleagues on behalf of Wedtech Corp. and two other clients.
