Peter K. Nevitt, chairman of BankAmeriLease, the leasing arm of BankAmerica, San Francisco, has resigned to establish a joint venture with Mitsui Leasing Inc. and Mitsui & Co., units of Mitsui Group, one of Japan’s largest trading companies. Nevitt will be president and chief executive of the new company, Mitsui Nevitt Capital Corp., New York.
