Walfred J. Fassler has been named regional vice president-general representation-Southern California of Chevron U.S.A. Inc., succeeding the late Owen F. Murphy, who was among four Chevron executives who perished in the December crash of PSA Flight 1771. Fassler, 51, previously was responsible for merchandising and sales development activities nationwide for the retail division of Chevron U.S.A.’s marketing department. Chevron U.S.A. is the principal domestic operating company of Chevron Corp.
