In response to Elayne Boosler’s response to Kay Klein’s criticism of David Letterman (Calendar Letters, Jan. 24), I just figured out why he throws his arms around and turns on that silly bubble machine every night. (That’s funny?)
Simple. He is Lawrence Welk’s secret love child!
And for a fast-paced fun-filled hour without a band, dancing or singing dogs, idiot cards--etc., it’s the Wil Shriner show at 10 on 9.
