A Superior Court judge has refused to move the embezzlement and tax evasion trial of former UC Santa Barbara Chancellor Robert Huttenback out of Santa Barbara County, denying defense arguments that an impartial jury could not be found. Attorneys for Huttenback and his wife, Freda, had argued that the couple could not get a fair trial in the county because of extensive publicity in the case.
