Catcher Tim Laudner of the Minnesota Twins, pitcher Jim Winn of the Chicago White Sox and infielder Jim Pankovits of the Houston Astros agreed to one--year contracts, reducing the number of players in salary arbitration to 55.

Laudner, who made $245,000 while batting .191 with 16 homers last year, will receive $295,000 plus $12,500 more if he plays 95 games or more. He had filed for $350,000 and the Twins had countered at $245,000.

Winn, who made $162,500 while posting a 4--6 record with six saves, will get $165,000 and the opportunity to make $207,500 more in incentives. He had submitted an arbitration figure of $275,000, with the White Sox countering at $140,000.

The terms of Pankovits contract were not announced. He made $100,000 while hitting .230 in 61 at--bats last year. He had filed for $150,000 compared to $135,000 for the Astros.
