Gregory A. Shortell has been appointed to the new position of vice president of international sales for Emulex Corp., a computer products manufacturer based in Costa Mesa. Before joining Emulex, Shortell was director of headquarters marketing and international sales management for Floating Point Systems in Beaverton, Ore. Before that, he was vice president and general manager of a Motorola division in Phoenix. He earlier headed European marketing operations for Harris Corp. and Hazeltine Corp., from their London offices.
