As an actor/producer, I am a big supporter of Equity Waiver theaters. They provide the feeding ground for talent development, writing, producing and performance not available through Equity Theaters.
Without Equity Waiver theaters, we in the industry would be unable to function. We need these Equity Waiver theaters. They are a crucial part of the entertainment industry.
