Hospital Gets County Pact for Seniors Day Program

LONG BEACH — Memorial Medical Center has received a $257,930 contract from the county to provide a day treatment program for senior citizens. The contract extends through June and includes an automatic one-year renewal. The hospital’s program serves adults age 60 and older whose independence is hindered by medical or physical problems.
