A select group of 52 U.S. disc jockeys will take part in “The American Music Hour,” a pop-music radio show set to premiere on China’s national radio network April 21. The one-hour, twice-weekly show will feature one American disc jockey each week in a spotlight segment that will have the disc jockey giving a brief introduction of his or her individual city, then announcing a favorite song to be aired on the show. Los Angeles’ representative: Jeff Wyatt of KPWR-FM (Power 106) in Los Angeles, who will announce “California Dreamin’ ” by the Mamas & the Papas.
