Philip C. Friedman has been named chairman and chief executive of Genisco Technology Corp., Rancho Dominguez. Friedman previously was a member of the office of the chief executive and a consultant for finance and administration for Genisco. He also is chairman of Nasco Aviation Corp., a closely held Gardena company of which Friedman is the majority shareholder. Philip G. Halamandaris will continue as president and chief executive.
