Sen. Kennedy’s Son Called Satisfactory After Surgery

BOSTON — Patrick Joseph Kennedy, son of Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.), was in satisfactory condition Friday after surgery to remove a non-malignant growth pressing on his spinal cord, a spokesman for the senator said. Kennedy, 20, had the growth removed Thursday at Massachusetts General Hospital after complaining of headaches and back pains.
