Draft Coverage Is Turned Into a Steinberg Event

Again this year, I looked forward to the NFL draft post-mortems. Again, I found instead a Leigh Steinberg media event. Almost incidental were the players themselves. Where was the in-depth analysis? Even the April 25 article on the draft was headlined: “Agent Steinberg Hits Daily Double.”

Perhaps next year you won’t resort to lazy journalism, and I will find the agent’s name in smaller letters than those who have been drafted.
