The 42nd annual Memorial Day Service at Heisler Park in Laguna Beach will be sponsored by American Legion Post 222 and VFW Post 5868 beginning at 10:30 a.m. The ceremony will include a 21-gun salute by the firing detail of the El Toro Marine Corps Air Station. Also, the Laguna Beach High School band will perform. About 50 churches, clubs and other organizations will also participate in the services.
