Little Richard turns TV host this fall in “The Colors of Success,” a weekly comedy and music series set to debut nationally Sept. 12. The syndicated show will co-star Ted Lange, best known as “The Love Boat’s” bartender, and Chip Fields, who appeared as Richard Pryor’s wife in “Blue Collar.” The longtime rock ‘n’ roller will act as the host and master of ceremonies at a nightclub owned by a divorced couple (Lange and Fields). The series is based on an Off-Broadway play called “The Rhythm and the Blues,” staged in 1982.
