International Lease Finance Corp., an owner-lessor and re-marketer of jet aircraft, announced delivery of three new Boeing jetliners to three separate lease clients, Lufthansa, Varig Airlines and Air 2000. The aircraft are valued at more than $170 million. Lufthansa of West Germany took delivery of a 737-300 twin jet valued at $28 million as part of a three-year, four-aircraft operating lease agreement announced in September, 1987. Brazil’s Varig Airlines took delivery of a 747-300 as part of a 15-year lease transaction signed in September, 1987.
