THURSDAYS, FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS : 3 Summer Series Slated for Park in Anaheim

Three summerlong series are being held at Pearson Park, 400 N. Harbor Blvd. (at Sycamore Street), in Anaheim.
On Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. a “Just for Kids” series is being offered. The schedule:
--July 7: Storyteller J. P. Nightingale and Grupo Folklorico presenting traditional dances of Mexico.
--July 14: The Korean Classical Music and Dance Co. and INCA performing music of Peru.
--July 21: Make-a-Circus, a “hands-on” circus.
--July 28: Ballet Pacifica’s production of “Babes in Toyland.”
A “Music Under the Stars” series is being offered Fridays at 8 p.m. The schedule:
--July 8, July 22 and Aug. 5: The Anaheim Community Band.
--July 15: The Fullerton College Community Band.
--July 29: The Santa Ana Winds Band.
Tickets for each program in the Thursday and Friday series are $2, with $1 discounts for children 12 and under and for people 50 and older.
On Saturdays at 8 p.m., a “Starlight Special” series will be held:
--July 9: The Lois Ellyn Ballet Company productions of “Vocalise,” “Spanish Waltzes” and other works.
--July 16: The Pacific Brass Quintet playing classical and popular works.
--July 23: L.A. Sambas: Popular Brazilian dance and music.
--July 30: Classical Spanish and flamenco dances performed by Lupe del Rio’s Spanish Dancers.
--Aug. 6: Magicians from the Magic Castle in Hollywood.
