Herbert Dwight Jr. has been named president, chief executive and chairman of Superconductor Technologies, a 14-month-old Santa Barbara firm developing products based on high temperature superconducting materials. Dwight previously was president and chief executive of Spectra-Physics. Glenn E. Penisten had been serving as president and chief executive.
