Two former officers of Laser Precision Corp., an Irvine manufacturer of laser-based test and measurement equipment, have formed a new company to market analytical instruments. Walter M. Doyle and Norman A. Jennings were ousted from their posts at Laser Precision last month after a dispute with other company directors over management issues. Doyle was chairman, president and co-founder of Laser Precision. Jennings was senior vice president and general manager of Laser Precision’s Analect Instruments division. Doyle and Jennings’ new company, Axiom Analytical Inc., is in Laguna Beach. The firm plans to develop analytical instruments used in chemical analysis, managing hazardous waste and other industries. The company has not begun marketing any products.
