UCLA basketball player Gerald Madkins was listed in fair condition at the UCLA Medical Center after being injured in an on-campus traffic accident Monday night.
Madkins, who will be a sophomore, was riding on a moped that collided with a car, according to the UCLA athletic department. He suffered a pelvic fracture and may require surgery, but a full recovery is anticipated, according to UCLA.
