Unocal, Los Angeles, has announced three executive appointments in its oil and gas division. H. D. Maxwell has been named executive vice president, with responsibility for all division operations. Succeeding Maxwell as vice president for the division’s Western region is E. Dean Laudeman, former vice president for exploration. Laudeman will be succeeded by John H. Van Amringe, former manager of exploration for the region.
