Ex-Minnesota Banker Indicted

Daniel K. Conners, former president of the People’s State Banks of Mazeppa, was arrested by FBI agents in his home today on charges of embezzling more than $5 million. Conners, 28, resigned two months after taking over the small town bank in 1987 and was accused of making “a series of conversions and cover-ups.”
