Compiled by Leslie Berkman, Times staff writer

Peter Szekrenyi, chief executive officer of Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, has been nominated by the Hospital Council of Southern California to be a member of the Orange County Emergency Medical Care Committee. The committee advises the county Board of Supervisors on emergency care matters and oversees the operation of the county’s emergency system, which includes 32 paramedic receiving centers and four trauma centers. John Gilwee, the hospital council’s regional director in the county, said supervisors are expected to vote within the next 30 days to accept Szekrenyi’s nomination.
