United Airlines said in a filing with the Transportation Department that it will seek approval to fly to Mexico City from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Washington and Chicago. The airline, a unit of UAL Corp., said it also seeks to serve Acapulco and Puerto Vallarta from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver and Chicago; Cancun from Washington; and Guadalajara, Mazatlan and San Jose Del Cabo from Los Angeles.
