Local News in Brief : Fountain Valley : Coroner Identifies Body Pulled From Lake

The coroner’s office has identified the man whose body was pulled from North Lake in Mile Square Park on Thursday evening as Johnny Riggins, 22, of Garden Grove. Riggins was with a group of friends swimming at the park when he apparently drowned, according to police. Riggins was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to Fountain Valley Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead. No foul play is suspected, according to Sheriff’s Department spokesman Lt. Richard J. Olson.
