Evansville Beats UCLA in Soccer; Indiana Wins

INDIANAPOLIS — Sophomore Ken Snow scored twice in the second half as Indiana defeated North Carolina, 2-0, and Evansville beat UCLA, 3-1, in the 6th Adidas-Metropolitan Life Soccer tournament.

Evansville had a three-goal run in the second half started by Shane Barrett’s unassisted score. Tim Ernst, off a pass by Paul Nevin, and Steve Church, assisted by Rob Paterson, also scored for the Purple Aces. UCLA’s Aaron Muth gave the Bruins a 1-0 lead at halftime, scoring off a pass by Bill Thompson.
