My granddaughter asked, “Who are you voting for, for President, Grandma?” When I told her Michael Dukakis, she asked, “Did you know he is a card-carrying member of the ACLU”?
I replied, “Yes, and so am I--have been for at least 15 years--and so was Dwight D. Eisenhower and Gen. Douglas MacArthur at one time. Furthermore, I’m a card-carrying member of the Union of Concerned Scientists, Democratic National Committee, San Diego Zoological Society, Peak Health Plan and the Neptune Society.”
