Maxwell Communications Corp. and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. agreed to extend their tender offers for the shares of Macmillan Inc. so that both will expire at midnight on Oct. 18 . . . Los Angeles-based Zero Corp. announced that it offer $8 a share for Air Cargo Equipment Corp.’s common stock outstanding. Air Cargo is a manufacturing firm based in Rancho Dominguez.
