Giorgio Beverly Hills, a division of Avon Products Inc., has appointed Sabra Lande president of the fragrance company’s new retail store and license unit, effective Oct. 31. Lande is now senior vice president and general merchandise manager of accessories and shoes at Robinson’s department stores, where she worked for 11 years. Previously, she had been with Sakowitz in Houston and Bonwit Teller in Chicago. In her new post, she will be responsible for Giorgio’s New York boutique as well as for developing retail stores in the United States and abroad. She will also oversee the licensing of Giorgio’s brand names.
