B-17 Crashes in Burbank

A B-17 World War II vintage bomber crashed at noontime today at the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Municipal Airport.
There were two people aboard and there were no injuries, officials said. Damage was moderate. Burbank Fire Department Dispatcher Mike Hand said the crash occurred at 12:37 p.m. on a runway near Empire Avenue.
