Resdel Industries reported a loss of $1.3 million for its first quarter ended Sept. 30, compared to a slight profit of $3,000 for the corresponding period a year ago. Sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 rose 32% to $5.1 million, up from $3.9 million a year earlier. Resdel is a Newport Beach company specializing in defense electronics products and telephone equipment.
