Local News in Brief : Newport Beach : Seminar Will Focus on Treatment of Headaches

New methods of treating chronic headaches will be discussed at 7 p.m. Thursday at a free seminar sponsored by the Newport Neurosciences Center, a nonprofit organization of neuroscience professionals.
Neurologists Laurence Jacobs, Barbara Jessen and C. Philip O’Carroll and clinical psychologist David Wright will discuss the effectiveness of acupuncture, biofeedback, drugs and behavioral therapy in treating headaches.
The 2-hour discussion will take place in the Health Education Foundation Center at Newport Center Medical Plaza, 360 San Miguel Drive, Suite 206. For reservations and information, call (714) 759-8001.
