Australia Offers Reward in Policeman’s Slaying

CANBERRA, Australia — The government Friday offered a $200,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the killer of the assistant commissioner of the Australian Federal Police.
The officer, Colin Winchester, was shot twice in the back of the head Tuesday as he sat in his parked car in the driveway of his Canberra home in what police described as an execution-style slaying.
Police believe a professional killer shot Winchester on orders from drug bosses.
