Motorcyclist, 19, Dies in Reseda Collision

A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed when he was struck by a motorist at Wilbur Avenue and Saticoy Street in Reseda, police said Saturday.
Tracy Carpenter of Canoga Park was hit by a car driven by Pamela Jean Raether of Northridge at 5:15 p.m. Friday. Raether told police that Carpenter, who was not wearing a helmet, ran a red light as she was turning from Saticoy onto Wilbur.
Carpenter was pronounced dead at Northridge Hospital Medical Center.
