Daniel Villanueva, general manager of all-Spanish KMEX-TV Channel 34 in Los Angeles, is expected to announce his resignation today, friends and station employees said. Station officials were unavailable for comment Tuesday, but KMEX said in a press release that Villanueva will announce a change in station management and “his new responsibilities” with the Univision network at a morning press conference today. There was no word Tuesday on a replacement for Villanueva.
