Potter Wins Santa Cruz Surfing Competition

Martin Potter of England eased to victory Sunday in the Cold Water surfing tournament in Santa Cruz.

Potter built a big lead early over second-place finisher Brad Gerlech. Marty Thomas of Hawaii and Bryce Ellis of Australia finished tied for third place.
