Actress Glenn Close (“Dangerous Liaisons,” “Fatal Attraction”) will be playing a new role when she returns to her alma mater, the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va., on May 14. She will deliver the commencement address and receive an honorary doctor of arts degree. Close is a 1974 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the college where she worked in a number of student productions.
