My compliments on your courage in publishing the governor’s letter. I agree with him. It’s so easy (and seemingly admirable) for you to advocate spending and more spending. (If “spending” were the answer, we’d have fewer problems since we now spend more than ever before.)
Where’s all this money to come from? Is The Times going to voluntary send some of that $332 million? The people voted for Prop. 13. Whose side are you on?
