Louis B. Susman, senior partner at the St. Louis-based law firm of Thompson & Mitchell, has been named managing director of Salomon Bros. Inc. and will head the company’s corporate finance activities in a 15-state Midwest region. The appointment will be effective June 30, and Susman will be headquartered in Chicago for the New York-based investment firm.
