Wolf Kept as Pet Attacks Boy, 3, on Staten Island

NEW YORK — A 3-year-old Staten Island boy was attacked by a wolf his family kept as a pet and suffered severe head wounds Saturday, police said. The boy’s mother was cited for a health code violation for keeping the wolf, which was beaten to death by her boyfriend after the attack, a police spokesman said.
