Kenneth G. Riedlinger has been appointed president and chief executive of National Education Corp.’s Illinois-based Applied Learning International subsidiary. He was also named executive vice president of National Education, a training company and educational publisher with headquarters in Irvine. Previously, Riedlinger was executive director of productivity at the North American Automotive Operations of Ford Motor Co. in Dearborn, Mich. Before that, he was a senior vice president of Electronic Data Systems Corp. in Detroit.
