AKRON, Ohio — The B. F. Goodrich Co. announced today it has acquired Foster Airdata Systems Inc. of Columbus, a manufacturer of aircraft electronics equipment. Foster, formerly a private company, specializes in navigation computer systems and positioning sensors for the corporate, commuter, general aviation and military markets.
Goodrich Aerospace President David L. Burner said Foster will become part of Goodrich’s Jet Electronics subsidiary headquartered in Grand Rapids, Mich.
