A man was killed early Saturday while attempting to cross Interstate 15, a California Highway Patrol spokeswoman said.
About 2:45 a.m., the victim, whose name was not released, was headed south in his vehicle near Villa Rancho Parkway when he apparently lost control and ran off the road, disabling his car. He then tried to run across the freeway and was struck by another vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
